We celebrated Easter this year by going to Sunday Mass, doing an Easter basket hunt, and a family dinner. The day before we died eggs, made cupcakes, and Brian made sourcroute. Marissa and her Brian died eggs too but she was being grumpy that day and did not want her picture taken.
The day started off with going to church with Brian’s parents. It was a nice service. Relatively short. About an hour. There was a lot of stand, then sit, then stand and then sit again. My favorite part was the hymns but that is because i like to sing.
When we got home Brian went on an Easter basket hunt. He had 6 clues and had to find them in order. Each one was a riddle. He found them rather quickly. i was impressed. Every one got Easter baskets this year, even Papa.
Then it was time to make the Easter dinner. Brian’s dad, Dave made the ham. Lynn made cheesey potatoes, green bean casserole and what we lovingly nipple rolls. i made deviled eggs and homemade cheese cake.
We relaxed a bit until everyone showed up. Then we ate the feast and hung out. Gail, Brian’s aunt, Evan and Nicholas, His cousins loved the cheese cake. Nicholas liked it so much he asked for one for his barfday.
It was a goot Easter. Nice to be surrounded by family again.
