i have to go to Houston at least once a year for training. So, we boarded a plane.
In the airport we seen Hello Kitty store that made me think of Adena and her daughter.
i able to visit with some of my old co-workers. We went out for drinks and one of the bars had a “bingo” night.
While there, i was able to take some time off too to visit with my brother. We went to the Houston Zoo and fed the giraffes.
We also went camping with a group of friends. There were some pretty wild flowers near our site.
i also learned what a specific style of dress was that i was interested in. It is very popular in Japan and it is called “Lolita Dress”.
i love the ruffles. i love the lace. i love the innocent style of childhood that they are made in. They were the kinds of dresses that i wore as a girl for Christmas and special events. Knowing that there is a way to get these dresses as an adult tickled me pink!
Overall it was a great visit but i am happy that is all it was – a visit.
