August was very busy… well sort of.
We visited Build A Bear and got Matthew (know and forever known as Chew) a toothless dragon and me a dragon and to stuff the last Care Bear – Funshine – who was my favorite Care Bear.
We took many walks with the puppies and i liked to go early in the morning. Chew joined me on one of them and passed out when we got home while playing his game.
All the activities and taking the hormones to prepare my body for the second transfer made me exhausted. i would nap frequently. One of my favorite places to nap was on Brian on the couch. Sammie agrees.
On August 8th, we transferred the second baby. However, we did not get pregnant. We did not take it as hard this time. On day 7, i knew i was not pregnant. i knew on day 6 last time. It is kinda uncanny.
Brian got me elephant cookies to cheer me up. They did but they tasted horrible.
The weekend before the boys flew back to their dad’s, we went to the Detroit zoo,
and we went to the movies to see Suicide Squad. It is my new favorite superhero movie (yes i know that it is really all about bad guys.) When the movie was done we played Pokémon Go! on the way to the car.
The boys flew back to their dad’s August 15th. They are coming back to live with us in two weeks. i am so excited about that but it is gonna be an adjustment for all of us.
We also celebrated Dave’s birthday. But because of me “knowing” i was not pregnant and the boys leaving, i was kinda out of it and forgot to take pictures. We brought over Mina and Rufus to visit with Nemo for a little bit but pibbles like to snuggle instead.
It was like we had a couple of babies <3 and we really do if you think about it.
