i was able to throw a birthday party for Robbie for the first time since he turned 10. i was so excited and i wanted to make sure it was something special. Back in March, he asked if he could go the Vans Warped Tour a huge concert thing that starts at 11AM and goes on until 9PM or so.
When ever he asked about it, we would dodge the question. But, we got the tickets back when he first asked. We even got him a collectors ticket. We told him that morning we were going to an “eye doctor”. When we go about half way there we pulled over and gave him the ticket in a pampers diaper. Here is a video of how he reacted:
He had a blast! We all went together and i dont remember seeing him that happy. Towards the end, being in the sun all day like that, Matthew ended up falling asleep. What a turd.
We got so burnt that day! It was the first time i got burnt like that in a long while, like years long while. Brian got it pretty bad too. Bye bye beautiful porcelain skin.
The next day we had Robbie’s actual birthday party. Everything was decorated in “Emo/Edgy” colors. He was mad that i was taking pictures but he let me in the end.
Nick, Adena and Kaylee drove up from out of state for his party too! Over all, it was a great way to celebrate his 16th Birthday.
