Dresses

July 12th, all the dresses for the Maids of Honors were finally purchased. Adena and Kaylee came up for a couple of days so they can try on dresses. It was so goot to see them. i had not seen Adena since June last year and Kaylee since Christmas 2013. i mean i have FaceTime’ed with them but that is not the same thing.

When they got here we both squee’ed like crazy. She loved the house and was so funny. She pressed the windows to see if they bowed. i guess they do where she lives.

We talked and just hung out. Brian played some Destiny on Playstation and Adena talked Him into buying it for the XBOX. Kaylee played with Skittlepants and Skittlepants played with Kaylee. i never sawl the cat sleep as sound that night.

The next day we went to David’s Bridal and they tried on dresses for the wedding. Kaylee was so cute. She really loved the long dress because “I look like a princess!” was her logic. She also got some really low age appropriate heels.

i will add pictures of Kaylee trying on dresses here after the wedding. i do not want to ruin the surprise.

Adena tried on a few dresses from Vera Wang’s collection. “You are going to be in Vera Wang, I want to too.” Which makes sense. my dress is Vera, my shoes are Vera, our toasting glasses are Vera, the cake knife and server thingy is Vera, and Brian’s tux is Vera. So of course Adena wants to have a Vera dress too. She ended up trying on a dress just for fun and i liked the way it looked on her so much i changed the style i was going for, well at least for her anyways.

Same deal, i will add pictures of Adena trying on dresses here after the wedding.

Like the Monday before Adena came, Marissa tried on some dresses. She looked really goot in them. The one she picked was great for her body. It hugged her in all the right places. i cant wait to see her in the real dress because the one she tried on was a cornflower blue or something like that. You know how David’s Bridal is…you find the dress that you like and then order it in the color you want.

i will add Marissa’s pictures here after the wedding too.

The first one to buy their dress was Ruthie. She got hers while we were still in Houston. i have never been so proud of her. She looked amazing. Though the one she went with was a little more modest on the top (by moodest i mean it covers her shoulders). i know that she was a little uncomfy with the length of it but she really was stunning. i cant wait till she comes up here so i can squish her nicely.

Yes, you got it, no pictures of this butterfly until after the wedding but they will be here.

Becca got her dress on July 17th. i know which one she got but when she sent pictures of it, she looked adorable. Not sexy, not cute. Adorable. Like a life size doll.  The only sad thing about this was that i was now there to see it in person.

That is right no pictures until after the wedding.

Jill found a dress and i have no clue on what it looks like. She asked me to send her pictures of Lynn’s and my mom’s dress so, i obliged. i will be totally surprised with what she found.

my mom was third peroson to get her dress. She finally broke down and got a “mother of the bride” dress. i know she will look great in it though. She is too vain to be otherwise. i say that lovingly of course because i am vain too. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best! i did not see her try it on, but the color i wanted will make her eyes pop.

Lynn….Brian’s mom. What can I say about her. She looked classy, elegant, regal. Her dress was so beautiful that i changed the color of the ladies and swapped it with guys. i am really pleased with the results.

Of course, i will add pics here later.
